The Ultimate Girls (s)Trip
Viva Las Vegas!!! Pack your mini dresses, hair extensions, and high heels for a wild weekend of drinking, dancing, and gambling in this Complete Bachelorette Guide to Las Vegas. Oh, and of course, not sleeping. It takes a few years off your life, but everyone needs to experience a weekend in Sin City. There’s not many places where you can listen to your favorite DJ, order bottle service poolside, take an hour nap, and do it all again a few hours later…… & again the next day.
Vegas is a popular destination for bachelorette parties all year round.
Where To Stay
Las Vegas has a multitude of hotels to choose from and I’ve narrowed down some of my favorite spots based off price, location, day parties, nightclubs, and restaurants located in the hotel or nearby. But if all else fails, stay near the strip and you can’t go wrong.
1. The Cosmopolitan
The #1 choice, and, for good reason. Once you arrive, you’ll immediately be immersed into a sexy, chic, modern hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortably fit up to four girls per room. It’s especially popular for its balcony rooms overlooking the Vegas strip and Bellagio fountains.
Quick Bites:
Hattie B’s Fried Chicken
Momofuku Milk Bar
Eggslut
Block 16 Urban Food Hall
Upscale Restaurants:
STK
Beauty & Essex *Highly recommend*
Scarpetta
Blue Ribbon
Plan a happy hour or late night drinks at Chandelier Bar. This three floor bar is surrounded by crystals that give the illusion of being inside a chandelier; super cool and unique idea! Also, behind Hattie B’s you’ll find a speakeasy called Ghost Donkey where you can grab late night drinks.
2. Caesar’s Palace
” You probably get this a lot. This isn’t the real Caesars Palace?
Did ummm, did Caesar live here? “
You better be thinking of The Hangover every time you hear the name! And, if you didn’t know what movie this is from, I am very disappointed. This Roman-themed hotel is centrally located on Vegas strip with close proximity to just about everything you need.
At Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, you can choose between seven different pool experiences. The hotel also includes plenty of luxury shopping and speciality stores.
Grab a drink at the new
Vanderpump Cocktail Garden.
Upscale Restaurants:
Mr. Chow
Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen
Nobu
Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill
3. Aria Resort & Casino
Another chic, “technologically advanced” hotel extremely popular amongst bachelorette parties. Rooms offer in-room tablets where you can make reservations, order room service and book a massage at their spa.
One of the great things about this hotel is that you don’t have to walk through the casino to get to most of the restaurants, the spa or the pool, since they are located on the promenade level located on the second floor. This hotel has tons of shopping and restaurants!
Brunch Spots:
Herringbone
Julian Serrano Tapas
Lemongrass
Upscale Restaurants:
Jean George’s Steakhouse
Catch
Carbone
Grab drinks at Sage Late Night Lounge.
4. Paris Las Vegas
This French-style hotel is budget friendly and centrally located along the Vegas Strip. Just across the street from the famous Bellagio fountains, you’ll be within close proximity to everything you’ll want and need.
Brunch:
Alexxa’s Las Vegas
Mon Ami Gabi
Upscale Restaurants:
Gordon Ramsay Steak
Nobu
Eiffel Tower Restaurant
Vanderpump à Paris
Hang out at Beer Park which offers cold beers, cocktails, and reimagined stadium favorites overlooking the Vegas lights.
Day Party
Towards the end of April, pool party season begins and continues to be the crowd-pleaser during summer months. These parties are everything you know to be true about Las Vegas nightclubs, but during the day. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the times to wake up, get glammed, and go dance and sing in a massive pool while listening to your favorite international DJs including big names like Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, DJ Pauly D, Diplo, Zedd, Alesso, Tiesto, and The Chainsmokers.
Popular Dayclubs
Marquee at The Cosmopolitan
Wet Republic at MGM Grand Las Vegas
Encore at Wynn Las Vegas
Helpful Tip: I’ve personally had the pleasure to party at all three locations. I love them all, but if I had to narrow it down, I would either choose between Wet Republic or Encore based off the size of the venue and pool itself.
These pool parties are also super fun, but may not have the same “wow factor” as the others. They make great backups!
Drai’s in The Cromwell
Liquid at Aria Resort & Casino
Tao Beach at The Venetian
Night Party
With so many places to choose from, this is another tough choice to narrow down. Always check to see which DJ is playing the weekend you’re in town and make your decision based off that. Just know, the more popular the DJ, the longer the lines!
Popular Nightclubs
Omnia at Caesar’s Palace
Hakkasan at MGM
XS at Wynn Las Vegas
Marquee at The Cosmopolitan
Tao at The Venetian
Jewel Nightclub at Aria
Helpful Tip: The best way to ensure entry into these nightclubs is by reaching out to club promoters! They are always on the look out for a large group of women. Be prepared for a long night because most headlining DJ’s won’t come on until around 1AM.
Popular Shows
Thunder Down Under: Think Magic Mike, but hot Australian men. It’s a fun, interactive show for woman all of ages. Literally, women are screaming to be pulled on stage. You’ll have so many laughs here and it’s 0% creepy. *Highly recommend*
Absinthe: A hilariously, raunchy show filled with talented acrobats, dancers, and a Green Fairy who will have you laughing the entire time.
Cirque du Soleil: This contemporary circus company is currently performing 6 different shows in Las Vegas. Check out their website to see if your crew might be interested in this!
Vegas Residency: Check to see which celebrities are taking the stage. When I was in Vegas, Usher was there and I totally wished I looked this up before I went because I would have loved to spend a night singing “You should….. LET IT BURNNNNN.”
